Michael Cain joined JaffeHolden in 2007 after receiving his Masters of Science in Architectural Acoustics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Utilizing his interests in music, architecture, and technology, Michael contributes a knowledgeable understanding of Architectural Acoustics including room acoustics and sound isolation. His current projects include Sun Valley Pavilion, Sun Valley, Idaho; King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Rabigh, Saudi Arabia; Terex Auditorium, Westport, Conn.; and the Count Basie Theater renovation, Red Bank, N.J.

Jonathan Hopkins
Consultant, Acoustics

Jonathan joined JaffeHolden in 2008 as a consultant in architectural acoustics. He brings 6 years of consulting experience and has worked on a wide variety of projects including schools, radio and television broadcast facilities, sound stages, recording studios, screening rooms, commercial buildings, mixed use, hospitality/casino and residential projects.  He has experience with field testing procedures, design, noise and vibration control of mechanical systems and environmental noise.

Mr. King is celebrating 35 continuous years in architectural acoustics consulting. His diverse projects range from The Esplanade, Singapore’s dazzling new $350 million performing arts center completed in 2002 to the 1975 renovation and reseating of Yankee Stadium in New York City.
