We want to hire a Senior Audio/Video Consultant who is highly skilled in client relations and experienced in the design and specification of a variety of technical audio/video systems. This person will work full time in our Norwalk, CT or Houston, TX office and join our team of passionate acoustic, audio/video and IT infrastructure consultants.

Our company solves complex AV issues for a diverse range of facilities so this candidate must have a thorough understanding of requirements for different types of AV systems and facilities. An ability to develop scope and budget for AV systems is helpful, and attention to detail and great interpersonal communication skills are required. Our ideal candidate will have a college degree, relevant certifications, experience working in a consulting firm, and at least 10 years of experience in professional AV design or contracting. All employees are required to maintain a current United States’ driver’s license. The candidate will also have knowledge and experience with the following:

• Conducting client programming/needs analysis and developing basis of design documentation
• Developing conceptual designs for AV systems
• Overseeing development of systems and preparation of contract documents for bidding purposes
• Overseeing contract administration including review of shop drawings, site inspections and commissioning
• Serving as the primary client contact for AV projects
• Coordinating the input of supporting AV consultants
