This position will include assessing and documenting clients’ needs, production of audio/video systems bid packages, and construction administration.  Additionally, the position will require coordination between the audio/video team and the architectural acoustics and IT infrastructure disciplines within the firm. 

The successful candidate will have a four year college degree; five or more years experience  as a consultant in the audio/video industry; proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office; and strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

The CAD draftsperson will work as an integral part of a team working on multiple audio/video and IT infrastructure projects, translating design intent into construction documentation.  Responsibilities include production of device location, signal flow, detail, and room layout drawings from preliminary design information; translation of sketched details and notes to working drawings; development of drawings to produce final construction documents; and coordination of drawing requirements with other team members.

The successful candidate will have proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit and good team working skills.
