Consultant, Architectural Acoustics

For 50 years, JaffeHolden has been a world leader in the field of acoustic design for performing arts, entertainment, education and museum facilities. With offices in Norwalk, CT, Santa Monica, CA, and Houston, TX, the firm provides services in architectural acoustics and audio & video systems design. We are seeking an individual with at least three years experience in architectural acoustics consulting to join the team in our growing Santa Monica, CA office.

The position will involve project management and collaborating with other project managers on a diversity of projects. Typical functions will include analyses of room acoustics, sound isolation, building systems (MEP) noise and vibration, and environmental noise; field observations and measurements; preparation of reports, memoranda, and drawings details; and working/coordinating directly with clients and other Jaffe Holden team members.

The successful candidate will have a B.S. in engineering, architecture, or other related field; strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; and proficiency with MS Office and AutoCad.
