We want to hire a draftsperson who has extensive training in Revit (up to and including Revit 2021) and Dynamo, as well as experience with BIM360, AutoCAD, and Sketchup. This is a full time position that may work remotely from any location in the continental US with the following requirement: broadband service with high capacity (minimum 750 MB/s download/upload), capable of handling large files (REVIT/BIM) will be absolutely required.

The draftsperson will be an important part of the JH team, working on multiple project deadlines to translate design intent into construction documentation for a variety of our world-class projects. Our ideal candidate has relevant work or education-based experience, a proactive attitude, and professional communications skills. Rhino has been on our radar, and we would welcome a candidate skilled with this software as well as recent high level training in the most recent changes to REVIT.

Responsibilities include:

  • Use Revit to produce construction documents
  • Initiate model with external references, setup views and sheets in coordination with design team members and project standards
  • Manipulate backgrounds from architect and other trades
  • Incorporate designer markups, notes, and sketches to working drawings
  • Develop, document, and maintain internal drafting standards
  • Create and maintain Revit families
  • Create and maintain Dynamo scripts
