SAM LERNER, CTS

Sam joined Jaffe Holden after nearly two decades working in theatrical sound design. He has designed systems for regional theaters, national tours, and Broadway productions. Sam has had additional experience developing and implementing immersive sound design technologies with some of the most respected manufacturers in the industry.

In addition to his expertise in systems design, Sam brings his experience as a regional theater department head to the Jaffe Holden team. Having served as an end-user himself, he understands the importance of a system that is efficient and seamlessly integrated into the overall user experience.

Sam’s theatrical training took place in London, England, where he studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for his undergraduate studies before going on to the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama for a Master’s degree in Sound Design and Music for Performance. His certifications include Certified Technology Specialist (AVIXA), Dante Level 1 (Audinate), Crestron Core Certification, and System Fundamentals trainings from d&b Audiotechnik, L-Acoustics, and Meyer Sound.
